I just received an email from a member in the UK stating that Gil will be appearing at the Jazz Cafe - late June.

I have not confirmed this yet. But when I do, I will post it to the message board and the website's Event's section - http://www.gilscottheron.com/events01.html

If anyone else has more info this, please feel free to let us know.

Subject: Jazz Cafe Newsletter - Special Announcement

Due to unforeseen circumstances GIL SCOTT-HERON & AMNESIA EXPRESS have
cancelled their engagement at the Jazz Cafe this week from the 25th - 30th June 2001. Please accept our apologies for the newsletter which was sent out on Tuesday this week still advertising him as appearing.

We now have OSIBISA appearing live on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th & Saturday 30th June 2001. Tickets are priced at £10 in advance from the usual outlets.

All Gil Scott-Heron ticket holders are entitled to a full refund from the point of purchase.

The Jazz Cafe would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
